ArchiDOCT – “RISK” – Call for Submissions

ArchiDOCT is a peer-reviewed e-journal aiming at fostering, enhancing and promoting doctoral research in architecture. It is supported by the European Network of Heads of Schools of Architecture (ENHSA) an EU funded Network in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Program, and fueled by the ENHSA Observatory.

ArchiDOCT only accepts manuscripts from PhD students in Architecture, who therefore find one of their first chances to communicate their research and get valuable mentoring in order to improve their writing skills from the peer reviewers. Each issue includes an editorial, an essay written by a member of the Scientific Committee or other eminent academic as a good practice example, and five essays written by doctoral students in architecture. Leaded by Maria Voyatzaki (Editor-in-Chief) and Constantin Spiridonidis (ENHSA Coordinator) and based at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, ArchiDOCT is published biannually in January and July. The official language of the journal is English. ArchiDOCT has been published uninterruptedly since July 2013 and from the second issue and on has invited a different guest editor and has devoted each issue to a different suggestive topic within the field of architecture.

The 10th issue of the ArchiDOCT e-journal will explore the concept of risk in architecture or other topics within the field of architecture that consider risk as a key factor. It will be edited by Ivan Cabrera and Ernesto Fenollosa from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). Full papers for this 10th issue have to be submitted by
September 15, 2017.
