The College of Architecture and Environmental Design at Kent State University is pleased to announce multiple openings. Position Listing for two of these are in the areas of architectural sciences and building technologies:

Position 1: Architectural design and environmental / ecological systems, Assistant or Associate rank, (9-month Tenure Track)

The College is interested in candidates with strong design skills and expertise in ecological approaches, passive and active environmental systems, and teaching courses like environmental systems, building systems, and integrated design. They should possess a clear and emerging research agenda highlighted by peer recognition, demonstrable capacity for design studio instruction, and who will contribute to the advancement of the discipline of architecture. Position 2: Architectural design and building technologies, Assistant or Associate rank, (9-month, Tenure Track)

The College is interested in candidates with strong design skills and expertise in building systems design and integration with the ability to teach courses in materials and methods, building systems, and integrated design. They should possess a clear and emerging research agenda highlighted by peer recognition, demonstrable capacity for design studio instruction, and who will contribute to the advancement of the discipline of architecture.
