ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR – ADVANCED BUILDING TECHNOLOGY & DESIGN AT TEXAS TECH

The College of Architecture invites qualified candidates with demonstrated experience in advanced building technology and design. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate potential for conducting scholarly research in their area of focus, linking their research interests with their teaching and architectural design, and providing leadership in teaching and research within the college. Areas of focus may include one or more of the following: building envelope assemblies, electric and daylight systems, building systems integration, structural analysis, building performance analysis, life cycle analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), advanced building materials, regenerative and resilient design, digital computation, or other related areas. Teaching responsibilities will include required building technology courses and seminars, teaching and coordinating architectural design studios at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, participating in studio reviews, and supervising of research students at the masters and Ph.D. levels.
